Chief Albert Luthuli Foundation

Luthuli Foundation is a home for Luthuli’s memories and his life.

Admired by many in the world as the first Nobel Peace Laureate in Africa, his life from humble begins, reflected the values of a humanitarian even at village level where he was elected a traditional leader by his people in Groutville near Stanger in KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa).

For his stance against apartheid, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1960.
